Sarah Chen

Sarah Chen covers breaking news and general assignment across the region. A New Haven native and Chinese-American whose parents run a restaurant on Whalley Avenue, she graduated from Southern Connecticut State University's journalism program and joined Connecticut Navigator straight out of school. She's learning every beat and works harder than anyone to prove herself. She believes local journalism is worth fighting for. She still lives in New Haven.
